The Gifts of Christmas

My wonderful Missouri Gang made this for me for Christmas. The love of my grandkids is such a gift, I am so grateful. And I loved hearing Jeni describe painting their feet...it tickled and was quite a funny experience. I love them all -- Jeni, Adam, Torryn and Chivon. Thanks so much!
My next post will include some pictures of Sean, who arrives this evening. His presence will be a wonderful present too!

In honor of our father, Vance C. Hanson

In honor of our father, Vance C. Hanson on this the 48th year of his passing.

As it warms my heart to know that Zoie's beautiful spirit arrived on the day of Dan's passing, I know he was thinking of his first born and only son, Bill, whom he loved dearly on his birthday that day.

His love follows us, and I know he feels our love for him.

So Proud to be Sean's Mama - Yet again

I

I am in awe of Sean and his "mates" that lead Challenge Days ... it's so emotional and I am sure exhausting. They are changing the world. You all rock! Thank you from a grateful Mama/Grandma/Auntie/Sister who wants a better world for all. I am with you all of the way! Love and hugs!!!!!!

This is from Janny's weekend with Sean...we are paying it forward.

Torryn Comes for Nascar Weekend

Our dear friends, the Browns, always host us at their motorhome!

Torryn up close with Richard Petty.

Driving a real Nascar!

But I think Grandma Terry's Wii system was the hit of the weekend! My little athlete has been practicing constantly and setting records in all kinds of sports. He's gotten a lot of exercise!

Auntie Terry loves those pumpkinheads!

I sent little pumpkins to Zoie and Vance, and I've gotta say that it made me VERY happy to get this video of Zoie. It's so precious, I had to share it. Thanks, OMA!

Vance -- now and the future?

Check out the "Roethlisberger" jersey. While I realize these were made for kids, I doubt that many 10 month olds sport the whole name like our big boy Vance. I see an OL in our future!

Auntie Terry just cracked up at the big boy stance Vance already has...no doubt an athlete!

This is my dear friend, Corey. He watches the doggies for me. He's funny, smart, and very kind.

Until you try to touch HIS quarterback.

I can see Vance in this picture in a few years!
And I know he'll be funny and smart and kind too.

Until you try to touch HIS quarterback.

Love to all of the terrific, good men in my life; sons, brothers, nephews, brother-in-laws and friends all. You rock!

Chivon's first kiss

Okay girls, we all know we make some bad choices before we find the right one...
Remember being a teenager?
This is my girl, "Slats"!

Throw up your hands and say WOO WOO!

"When you get on a roller coaster you can close your eyes, hold on, and just not enjoy it at all. Or you can throw up your hands and say WOO WOO! Either way, you have had the SAME ride!"
So it is with LIFE!
Let's throw up our hands, say WOO WOO and enjoy this ride!

Love fest with my sister, Janny and family in CT

There are not words (and I am pretty wordy!) to describe the happiness of the re-connection with my little sister, Jan in Connecticut. The love was flowing freely, as was the wine! And the doggies were as loveable as all of our family pets! So now I have expanded the love and now with Jan, add Bob, Rachel, Nicole, Phoebe and Timber...They are each very precious. Geez, life just keeps getting better and better.
On this night, Janny and I met our good friends...Jan's best friend, SaraBeth, and my "daughter" Tressa for dinner at Max Amore (much love) restaurant. We were very sympatico, and I think Tressa will get Jan to do a mini triathalon. Tressa can really use a big sister, and I love it that they clicked immediately.
Thanks and love to Bob for the kind photo!

Jean made me do it!

Well, since I build websites for a living, I am ashamed to be sending all of the photos in email and not posting them to the web. My terrific sister-in-law, Jean, has taken the time and effort to create theirs and it's terrific to visit and look back at the growth of those pumpkinheads, and share the family photos. So here I am, and will get this going so I can also keep a record of the wonderful family and friends I have and love.

I've Gone to the Dogs

These are my "babies", Misty and Bodie. They pretty much follow me everywhere I go, much like Tilly and Penny do at the Farm!

FFPDJ Golf Tournament 2007

Honoring Dan as well as Uncle Phillip and Johnson really is special every year. It's hard to believe this is four years, but the love goes on.

Thanks to all of you who honor our loved ones and make this event special every year.

And this year was really special with the addition of my "sister" Jean, who made the shot of the day (pictured below) and nephew Ty, whose Happy Gilmore shot is one for the books! FORE!
Love to all, Terry

Who Says You Can't Go Home

Getting the Phoenix homestead ready to sell so I can go home!
